If you are in the automotive section of a store like Wal-Mart, these small bottles of paint to remove scratches in your car. That might work, or you can search the Web for leather repair kits.
The stripes are black? What kind of a red pen?
Vasaline rubbed on pumps should help to clean and remove scratches.
