I would like to know if the bike is older in need of repair to a new value if the search for a 70 cl350 or CB750. In the open to suggestions of other bikes too.

Think about it. If you have a CB750 (I own), that is $ 500. Tires was good to eat. I'm in North Carolina. A comprehensive review should not exceed $ 1000.00 to $ 1200,00. Then, as the murderers cosmetic May, a motorcycle have about $ 2500.00, with the engine, so basically a new worrys, ease of maintenance. But it's all on the budget. I was the restoration of the CB, CL, SL350 and CB750F Super Sport for 20 years. I do not sell if they are running like new or better. I sold many of them boys in Belgium, Germany and all over the USofA A. I have never had a complaint. You will not beat speed records on. If you want comfort A Lil 'in the new bikes, as well as handling and perhaps gasoline. They have knowledge Lil 'mechanics on the bike, because there are very few shops that work on them. But again lil nostalgia "and something else in the neighborhood. Will pay about $ 3800.00 plus CB750 mint .... and some (not much) less for a mint ....... CB350
I would like to have a CL350 or CB750 have age. The hardest part is to a good and a source of parts. Toys such as motorcycles, hot rods buy, boats, snowmobiles, airplanes or anything that is not intelligent, but they make life more fun, and having fun and my wife and children's shoes and food food, go!
CB750 enough, bullets, if you find one that works, you should now have the ability to work with minimal technical expertise, but in general (in general) requires more maintenance than new bikes and although there are parts of the body feeding the engine is increasingly rare.

Hmmm ... 35 years old machine is very heavy, hard to find parts, he behaves like a crap and has terrible brakes. I can not buy me no reason to.
if ur willing to spend twice as much maintenancee vintage motorcycle as the new wheel UR .. then u can still think for the purchase bcoz .. much higher oil motorcycles ..!
